I have been a professional makeup artist and hair stylist originally from New York and currently in Los Angeles, for over 20 years. I started my career as an aspiring singer / actress, but for me, the getting ready part was as much fun as being on stage, so when theater life got to be too much (or more to the point, when the waitressing-to-support-the theater gigs got to be too much), becoming a makeup artist seemed like the natural next step. After a course of study at Parson's School of Design, and having put together a Polaroid portfolio of friends and family makeovers, I was thrilled when I began getting editorial and commercial clients; Self, American Health, Glamour, the MTV Awards.

My trademark then and now is a natural, fresh, look. I believe my "less is more" philosophy in beauty and style, translates well to the area I love working in the most - weddings. While I know how to create a look that reaches the last row of the theater from my days on stage, it's the flawless, natural makeup that remains my passion. Since moving to Los Angeles in 1986, I've been represented by the Zenobia agency, 323-937-1010, for all my professional bookings.
